Meet Emma, the 7-year-old Chiweenie who is owned and loved by Lexi. This sweet pup is a Chihuahua X Dachshund mix who has a white and tan coat, tan capped head, as well as some tan markings around her eyes.
Emma was rescued by Lexi and her family, just in the nick of time too as she was about to be put down the following Sunday. When we asked Lexi to narrow down her favorite memory of Emma, like many it was a hard task to do. One of Lexi’s favorite things about Emma is always how excited she gets when she sees her. “Whether I’ve been gone for 10 minutes or away for 2 weeks at a horse show, she’s always so happy to see me. Most of the time she gets so excited she tinkles on herself, so you have to take her outside as soon as you get home. She’s very opinionated, very dramatic, and LOVES food. She is very food motivated for anything.”, says Lexi. Not only does she love food, but she loves her attention. Sometimes she thinks she’s a Great Dane. She is a happy-go-lucky little girl who loves life and everyone in hers.
