Cellussul, fondly called Seuss, is a 2011 Mecklenburg gelding ridden by Piper Palko who trains at October Hill Farm.
Seuss has had quite the journey leading up to where he is today. Though he may have started in Germany and changed hands a few times along the way, he’s now found his perfect home with Piper and the Palladium Equine team.
Piper’s favorite memory with Seuss is one that truly captures his heart. During the summer of 2023, Seuss proved himself to be the ultimate teammate—giving his all in every round and showing off his gentle, dependable nature. Those moments made all the hard work worth it and reminded everyone just how special he is.
Piper started taking riding more seriously around the age of 10 and has been hooked ever since. Her favorite part of owning horses is building relationships like the one she has with Seuss—built on trust, patience, and plenty of love.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. With the help of the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show family, Karinda has raised over $30,000 for Candlelighter’s Houston since starting this project.
