WIN ME ANOTHER | 3 YEAR OLD SADDLEBRED | MAGNOLIA, TX

Moose, Win Me Another, is a Saddlebred. His sire is Unlike Any Other who is by Arrowhead. His dam is Win Me Over who is by Glenmore. He was bred by Debbie Ellis and he was bought from Kathy S. Capsuto. Moose lives and trains at Lone Star Saddlebreds with Milo Jones and Koren Mercer in Magnolia, TX.

Moose has a beautiful chestnut coat that shines in the sunlight, but what sets him apart are the unique markings on his face. He has a striking star on his forehead and a connected stripe and snip that toughs his right nostril and stretches up to his upper lip. His nose looks freckled which adds to his unique appearance. Moose’s gentle and affectionate personality makes him a favorite among his caretakers and riders. He’s known to be very sweet and loving, with an even-tempered demeanor that puts everyone at ease. Anyone who spends time with Moose can’t help but fall in love with his distinctive looks and charming personality.

Dan, Moose’s owner, is thrilled to have such a beautiful and majestic horse in his stable. He had been searching for a horse to add to his collection for quite some time when he heard about Moose from Milo Jones in Kentucky. Milo had recently acquired Moose and had started training him. When Dan first laid eyes on Moose, he was struck by how stunning he looked. After seeing how well-trained and majestic Moose was under Milo’s guidance, Dan knew he had found the perfect horse to bring back home with him. It’s only been a month since Moose has been with Dan, but it’s clear that they have already formed a strong bond.

Moose is a big fan of treats, but he definitely has his favorites. Peppermint is by far his all-time favorite, and he can’t resist the sweet and minty taste. Apples and carrots are also high on his list of preferred treats, and he loves the satisfying crunch they make when he chomps down on them.

Moose has already accomplished so much in his young life, and Dan couldn’t be more proud of him. At the ASR Two-Year-Old Sweepstakes in November of 2022, Moose showed off his skills in the 3 Gaited Park category and took an impressive 2nd place. Then just a few months prior, in August of 2022, Moose made his debut at the World’s Championship Horse Show in the 3 Gaited Two-Year-Old category and earned an impressive 3rd place. These accomplishments are a testament to Moose’s natural talent and the hard work that both he and his trainers have put in to get him to where he is today. As Moose continues to grow and mature, Dan is excited to see what other achievements lie ahead for him in the future.

Dan has always had a love for animals, but it wasn’t until his granddaughter started taking horseback riding lessons at Lone Star Saddlebreds in 2021 that he developed a passion for horses. Seeing his granddaughter’s joy and excitement as she learned how to ride and care for horses sparked something in Dan, and he knew he wanted to become more involved with these amazing animals. In December of 2021, Dan purchased his granddaughter her very own horse, and since then, he’s added two more horses to his collection. Dan’s favorite thing about horses is their lovable and intelligent nature. He’s constantly amazed by how attuned they are to his feelings and how they seem to have a sixth sense when it comes to understanding human emotions. For Dan, horses have become much more than just a hobby – they’re a true passion and a source of joy in their family.

Dan has already made some incredible memories with his beloved horse Moose, but his favorite memory is the first time he saw him in person. After seeing pictures and videos of Moose, Dan was already impressed by his unique appearance and charming personality, but seeing him in person exceeded all of his expectations. Moose’s beautiful chestnut coat was shining in the sunlight, and his unique markings made him stand out even more. But it wasn’t just his looks that won Dan over – it was Moose’s friendly and affectionate personality that truly stole his heart. From that moment on, Dan knew that Moose was more than just a horse – he was a treasured companion who would bring him and his grandkids joy and happiness for years to come.
