TRUTH BE KNOWN | 6 YEAR- OLD BELGIAN WARMBLOOD GELDING | SUGAR LAND, TX

Meet Truth Be Known, affectionately known as Atticus or Atty, a 6-year-old chestnut Belgian Warmblood gelding with three white socks and a blaze. Atticus is a treasured member of Morgan Baron’s equestrian family, under the expert guidance of Merrily Quincoces at Quantum Hunters and Jumpers.

Morgan shares her favorite memory with Atticus: “My favorite memory of Atticus so far is probably our first show together. After training together for just a few weeks, it was fun to see how he performed at a show. He exceeded expectations for our first time out, and I was so proud of him.”

The journey to find Atticus took Morgan and her team to Georgia, where they instantly fell in love with him. He officially became part of their family on February 24, 2024. Atticus, born on June 11, 2018, brings a blend of sweet temperament and intelligence, making him a joy to train and ride.

Atticus’s impressive lineage includes Weltmeyer II (damsire) and Oliver Obolensky (sire), and he was imported from Belgium last year after being under saddle for just six months. Despite his young age, Atticus is well-mannered and eager to please, always striving to do what Morgan asks of him.

When it comes to treats, Atticus is quite the enthusiast, always hoping for a snack. While he’s not a fan of bananas, he has a special fondness for sugar cookies.

Morgan’s equestrian journey began at the age of 10, but it wasn’t until last year, at 15, that she started riding competitively. With Atticus by her side, she looks forward to many more successful and memorable moments in the ring.

Stay tuned for more updates on this promising pair as they continue to grow and excel together at Quantum Hunters and Jumpers.
