He’s Throwing Smoke “Pete”, is 2012 APHA Gelding. Pete lives at Texas Horsepower Ranch LLC in Lipan, TX, Kailyn & Pete train with Tell Edgmon.
One of Kaylan’s favorite memories with Pete was within the first few months of owning him. It was their second show at the APHA World Show in the 4-7-year-old challenge. Not only was this her very first APHA World Show, but it was also Pete’s first time. Needless to say, they had a GREAT show! Not only bringing home more with one another, but the pair also placed top 6 in all four levels! Kaylan currently practice’s NRHA & APHA Reining as well as APHA Ranch Riding with Pete.
Kaylan describes Pete’s personality as the most laid-back gentleman and I definitely got a glimpse of this during our session. He loves his turn-out pen and extra treats at dinner time! With his bald face, he wears a mask while being turned out so his face doesn’t sunburn; although he can’t stand his masks and destroys them all the time! Pete has the most gorgeous blue eyes that Kaylan absolutely adores!
