I’M SO SEXY | 13 YEARS OLD AMERICAN SADDLEBRED | BATON ROUGE, LA
Tyson, I’m So Sexy, is an American Saddlebred Gelding. His sire is Moonlight Victory and his dam is Sultan’s Caramella. He was bred by Ann M Roberts. Tyson lives and trains at Maranatha Stables in Lousinana with Tommy Benton Jr.
Tyson is a chestnut horse with a star and connected stripe, a snip on his nose, a lower lip that juts out, and partial coronets on both hind legs and left front coronet. But what sets him apart from the rest are the markings on his left hip, which make him extra cute and one-of-a-kind.
Despite his striking appearance, Tyson’s big personality is what really shines through. He is an animated and goofy horse who loves attention and is always eager to please. With his friendly and outgoing nature, it’s hard not to fall in love with him.
Aliya, Tyson’s owner, was on the hunt for her perfect horse when Tyson unexpectedly entered her life. He was sent to her former trainer with a few yearlings for training, but with a full barn and no consistent rider, Tyson was left without much attention. However, Aliya saw something special in him and knew that he was the one. She fell in love with him and has owned him since 2017. Tyson and Aliya have formed an unbreakable bond, proving that sometimes the best things in life come to us unexpectedly.
This goofball has a few favorite treats that always get him excited. His go-to snacks are carrots, watermelon, and peppermint. But what sets Tyson apart from the other horses in the barn is his love for celery. He’s the only one who can’t get enough of it! And when it’s time to celebrate a good show, Tyson enjoys a sip of champagne. It’s just one of the many ways he shows off his unique personality and love for the finer things in life.
Aliya’s love for horses began at a young age, but it wasn’t until later in life that she had the opportunity to start riding. Despite this, she pursued her passion and made it her profession. After completing veterinary school and specialty training, she decided to treat herself to riding lessons as a way to celebrate becoming a certified veterinary cardiologist. From there, her love for riding only grew stronger. For Aliya, the most rewarding aspect of owning horses is the special relationship that develops between the owner and each individual horse. It’s a bond that she cherishes and is grateful for every day.
Aliya has countless fond memories with Tyson, but her absolute favorite moments are the times they spend goofing around in his stall. Tyson’s expressive face never fails to make her laugh, and she loves trying to match his silly expressions in the selfies they take together. These lighthearted moments are a reminder of their relationship and the joy that comes from spending time with her beloved horse. For Aliya, there’s nothing quite like the simple pleasure of spending time with Tyson and making memories that will last a lifetime.
