SUPER UNO VL | 19 YEAR OLD WARM BLOOD | HUGO, MN

Gummy Bear, Super Uno VL is a Warm Blood. He lives and trains at Arbor Hill Farm in Minnesota.

Gummy Bear is a beautiful bay horse with a striking white blaze on her face and white legs. But it’s not just her appearance that sets her apart – she has a personality all her own! Gummy Bear is a sassy and opinionated horse, with a big heart to match. Though she may be lazy and laid back when not in the ring, when it’s go-time and she hears the buzzer, she is lightning quick. Her unique combination of sass and speed make her a one-of-a-kind horse, and a joy to watch in action.

Ivy’s story of how she found Gummy Bear is a heartwarming one. As a surprise Christmas gift, Ivy’s mother purchased Gummy Bear for her. But, cleverly disguised her as a horse in training from a client in Maryland. Gummy Bear had actually been at Ivy’s barn for a few months before the big reveal. During her first ride, Gummy Bear impressed everyone with her fearless attitude when she calmly stepped on a sparkly gold intertube without a care in the world. Ivy’s mom, sister, and trainer knew right then and there that Gummy Bear was the perfect horse for her.

Gummy Bear may have a sweet tooth, but she’s quite particular about the texture of treats she enjoys. While she’ll happily munch on gummy bears, cookies, or anything sugary, she’s not a fan of treats that have a strange or mushy texture. That means she’s not too keen on bananas, for example, which can be a little too soft for her liking. But overall, Gummy Bear is always up for a treat that satisfies her sweet tooth, and her love for all things sugary is just one more endearing aspect of her charming personality.

Gummy Bear is a talented horse who has accomplished a lot in a short amount of time. Since becoming Ivy’s riding partner, she’s taken her to new levels of competition and helped her achieve impressive results. While Gummy Bear may have started out as a junior hunter, it quickly became clear that her real strength was in the jumper ring. With her speed and agility, she’s helped Ivy win her first-ever low children’s classic and has been a true asset to their team. Gummy Bear’s accomplishments are a testament to her skill and hard work, and it’s clear that she has a bright future ahead of her.

Ivy has been riding horses for as long as she can remember, and it’s a passion that has stayed with her throughout her life. She loves the unique personalities of each of her horses, and the special bond that comes from spending time with them. Whether it’s the sassy attitude of Gummy Bear or the gentle nature of her other horses, Ivy cherishes the connection she has with these magnificent animals. Riding has become an integral part of her life, and it’s clear that Ivy’s love for horses will continue to inspire her for years to come.

The pair share a special bond that’s evident in their favorite memories together. For Ivy, nothing quite compares to the feeling of riding Gummy Bear through the water at the Kentucky Horse Park. It’s a moment that captures the joy and freedom that comes with being in the saddle, and the trust that Ivy has in her beloved horse. But it’s not just the riding that Ivy loves about Gummy Bear. She cherishes their quiet moments together when she’ll hop on her bareback and watch movies with her in the stall. Gummy Bear is not just a horse to Ivy – she’s a funny, wonderful caretaker and a treasured companion who brings her so much happiness.
