Meet Stevie, an 8-year-old Heinz 57 rescue owned and adored by Kendall Harris who lives at the Harris Residence. Stevie is a handsome young boy with a brown and white coat. Kendall adopted Stevie 3 years ago from an animal rescue, a few years later she adopted another dog, Piglet a Maltipoo, who is Stevie’s sister whom you will read more about later on in our book!
Kendall shares her favorite memory of Stevie being at one of his horse shows. “We were walking to the barn and everyone starts loving on Stevie. Everyone knew who Stevie was even if we didn’t know who they were.” He was the star of the show and absolutely loved the attention!
Stevie has many precious little characteristics traits and quirks, but one of Kendall’s favorites is how Stevie has one ear up and one ear down at most times, and both up when he is excited!
Stevie’s treat of choice is turkey.
Stevie loves attending horse shows with his mom any chance he can! Of course, he gets all the love and affection from all the sweet barn girls…maybe a few extra treats here and there, and makes tons of new four-legged furry friends! Kendall has been riding for a few years now and trains with Colleen Acosta at Fairway Farms outside of Dallas, TX.
