Stanislaus, is owned by Kathy and Tilly and goes by Ky. Ky is a 19-year-old Warmblood. The pair train with her dad, Martien van der Hoeven at Marlac Farm.
Ky is a wise and dandy bay with a faint start and right hind sock. He is by Stakkato and out of Chantal. Tilly’s favorite memory with Ky is when they competed in a costume contest. She went as Cinderella and he was a mouse. She got to live her princess dreams that day! He was such a prince and even put up with the mouse ears she strapped on.
Tilly loves the lessons Ky has taught her over the years. She’s been riding him since 2020 and he teaches her something new on the regular. He’s helped make her a better rider and she looks forward to the rest of his lessons. Ky loves Fritos and hugs. Whenever they finish a class she always goes and hugs his head while feeding him Fritos. Plus! he has the kindest eyes ever.
Tilly met Ky through her uncle. The first time they rode together he actually bucked! But she knew they were going to be best friends and has worked hard to continue to build their partnership.
Tilly has been riding horses since she was 2 years old. She got into horses because of her stepdad. She’s had horses all her life and her favorite thing about owning them is that they don’t judge you and you can be yourself!
