Simply Max, also known as “Max” around the barn is a 12-year-old Oldenburg chestnut pony. This stunning gelding has a star on his forehead leading down to a strip down his nose, and 4 white socks. Max is loved and owned by a young boy named Davis and lives at their family farm in Austin, TX called Hacienda Con Vista. There at the family farm is where the pair trains Debbie Seymour, Hope Glynn, and Tori Colvin.
Max is ridden and shown is by Davis. In this family, riding is a family affair. Davis’s mother and sister both share a love for horses and the equestrian world having horses of their own. Max is a saintly pony with the biggest puppy dog personality, although in the show ring he looks fancy and is excited to go show with his owner, Davis, on the ground all Max really truly wants is to be fed cookies and loved on.
Horses have been in the Baker family for generations, which is very obvious when it comes to Davis because handling horses is something that comes so natural to him, especially at such a young age. Davis is also a very gifted rider. Having his mom and sister to look up to and help whenever necessary is always something that will never be taken for granted.
Did you know that two black horses can sometimes create a Chestnut Horse?
