San Antonio equine photographer | Discoe the Belgian
Discoe, Enterich, is a Belgian Warmblood. His sire Capone One. He lives at Galloping Springs Ranch in Dripping Springs, TX.
Discoe has a unique story. He was left at a jumper barn and eventually sold for the lean on the barn board. Shortly after, a brand was discovered and he was found to be imported from Germany. As I sit here and write this I cannot help but think that somehow the horses’ stories I am sharing will reach people across the world and maybe, just maybe, someone will recognize their past horse whom they have always wondered what had happened to them.
Discoe does dressage and they train with Jennifer Jarvis. Previously he did jumpers. He is a very complex horse with many layers, but as they keep riding and training him they are peeling back the layers to reveal the true horse underneath. Leslie, his owner, first found him because her friend was the person that bought him from the lien.
Discoe will eat just about anything. His owner shares, “he has a subversive sense of humor. He likes to hold on to a piece of your shirt while you hang out with him.”
