I am incredibly honored that I was able to attend and photograph the Robert Dover Clinic in Dripping Springs,TX. It was amazing to get to watch each horse and rider pair progress during the two day clinic.
It was absolutely awesome getting to watch Robert Dover talk time and time again about, rather than seeing how your horse moves, imagine your horse’s movement mimicking the best of the best; When you think extended trot, see Valegro’s extended trot. As riders, seeing what we “think” our horse is capable of in our heads, causes us to limit our horses movement without even realizing that we are restricting them. Every time Robert would tell a rider to see “their movie” in their head, you could see their horse change instantly.
“Make it your movie, if it’s not yours than whose is it??”
