REX | 12-YEAR-OLD MALTESE AND YORKIE MIX | KATY, TX
In loving memory of Rex.
Rex is a male black and white Maltese and Yorkie mix. Rex has mostly black curly hair with a white patch on his chest. His owner, Amanda, describes him as a highly energetic and intelligent dog. He is very protective over his family and incredibly brave despite his small stature.
Amanda found Rex in Ohio as a puppy. He was the last of his litter and she just knew she couldn’t let him be alone. Rex was the puppy for her. Amanda and Rex were together for 12 years and they went through numerous life events together such as college, jobs and so much more. Rex is the definition of a best friend.
Rex is always up for a tasty snack. While he would enjoy any snack, he simply can’t a nice juicy clementine! Whenever Amanda is snacking on this delicious fruit, Rex is quick to come over so he can get one. Rex simply thinks that this is the best treat anyone could ever give him.
One of Amanda’s most cherished memories with Rex is that she got to get him photographed by Karinda before he passed away. Amanda lost Rex due to congestive heart failure just a few weeks after the photoshoot. Amanda will miss his endless energy, enthusiasm for life, and pure soul. Even though Rex is no longer with Amanda, she will forever have these pictures to remember her sweet Rex by.
