Today’s blog features many of the people that help make the Pin Oak Charity Horse show run ever so smoothly, and help to raise so much money for so many amazing causes. The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show benefits Texas Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House, and Candlelighters. This horse show like any large event takes a huge team of people to run each and every day. There is a huge staff of amazing people that work each and every day, but ultimately it wouldn’t be anything without the exhibitors who show up, the families that support their loved ones, kiddos that hang around in the barn while their Mom shows, trainers that devote their lives to their clients, friends that will clean your boots after you hop on your horse, veterinarians that will stay up all night making sure your best friend and partner in crime is safe, farriers to keep them going, horse show photographers to capture those priceless moments, announcers to make sure everyone gets in the ring, ring help to tell you your class is up next, office staff to make sure your entries are perfect, grooms to make sure your ponies are spotless even after your white somehow manages to turn himself green overnight, and all of the amazing sponsors, the list goes on and on. So today I say “THANK YOU!” to each and every person that makes this horse show possible and allowed me to be a part of this extraordinary two weeks!
I am going to do an extra special giveaway to one lucky person who comments on the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Blog Series after it is finished. To enter simply comment on this blog and tell me who you are thankful for at the Horse Show.
Check back the next few weeks for parts 3, & 4 of the blog. You can find part one of the blog here.
To schedule a session of your own email me at [email protected].
Stunning ❤️ I love how you captured every aspect from the office to the amazing Lesli at her gate to learning courses. The black and white hand holding is adorable too
Ps I’m especially thankful for Lesli Mitchell and the whole southbound crew. I commuted from school and was able to ride show and do homework and it was run so smooth and I never had an issue ❤️❤️
The list of people I am thankful for at horse shows is SO long! In a short version, I would say the staff who organize and run the shows, the photographers, and the families who support everything!
Thanks to the staff for allowing us to have an opportunity to compete and do what we love in a place as great as GSWEC!
Thanks to the photographers for capturing moments of triumph we have, as well as the (eventually) funny moments of failure in the arena.
Lastly, thanks to the families who have allowed each of the riders to compete in this sport that we all know is not only expensive, but not for the faint of heart either! Without their support mentally, and sometimes financially, there wouldn’t be this fantastic horse community for us to partake in!
