Before we go any further, we have to tell you why the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show is so near and dear to our hearts.
You might just know me, the girl behind the camera, but there is a second half that supports me unconditionally with all of my crazy ideas, and that is my husband, Austin. Austin went through something that no child should ever have to experience, he lost his little sister, Jessica, to cancer when he was only 7 years old.
There are no words to express what that was like for him, but what I realized while getting to know Austin and his family, is that childhood cancer truly impacts the entire family.
Austin and I have spent countless hours dreaming of the day and ways that we could give back to families that are effected by childhood cancer, and with the help of The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show we have been able to bring this to life.

Here is how you can help us support Candlelighters
1. Donate $75 to Candlelighters here on our website.
2. Receive a "White Background" Fine Art Portrait Session for your Horse at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show.
3. Select your favorite images from the session to purchase, and display on the walls of your home. Your purchase will help us donate books featuring your beautiful horses to children with cancer.

But wait, I am not stopping there. I want to give back to children with cancer in an even bigger way.
I will also be using these images to put together a picture book full of all of your beautiful horses and donating these to local hospitals and other organizations that do amazing things for children with cancer and their families, our book will be printed after year 5 of the event so that we have a HUGE book full of all of your horse's portraits.
These families are stuck in the hospital for weeks on end, with no escape, and I know how important any escape and distraction can be to these families. I also know, that there is something incredibly powerful about horses, even just a simple image of a horse.
After the show's conclusion, we will meet online on Zoom for an image reveal, where you can pick out your favorite images from the session, and I can even help create custom Art Displays for your home.
Your purchase of Art for your home will help to pay for the production and printing of these books.
How Can I Contribute?
You can make a donation through my site towards Candlelighters. After the horse show, we will present Candlelighters with a check for the total money raised. 100% of your $75 donation will go straight to Candlelighters.
If you would like to donate more than $75 you can change your donation in $75 increments by simply adjusting the quantity.
Portrait sessions are only available at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show in Katy,TX.
Can I Contribute Even If I Am Not Attending The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show?
Yes, anyone can contribute to help me reach my goal to raise $15,000 for Candlelighters. If you would like to make a contribution you can use the donation form and select "without portrait session."
We will only be able to photograph horses that are attending the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, and can not allow outside horses to be photographed at the show.
If you would like to have your dog photographed, you are welcome to bring your well-behaved dog to the horse show to be photographed.
What Will I Get with my donation?
You will receive a White Background Portrait Session at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show.
After the show, you will receive an email to set up a Zoom Meeting where you can view your images and select any images you would like to purchase.
For every image purchased, we will use a portion of the proceeds to print and donate books to patients at Texas Children's Hospital.
We can also create custom wall displays for your home using these portraits during our meeting. Most clients end up wanting a large statement piece for their home so that they can have a one-of-a-kind piece of art featuring their very own horse.
If I want to purchase My HOrse's Portraits, what do most people invest?
Most people want a piece of art for their home featuring their horse's fine art portraits.
We can help design wall displays that fit your space if you send us a picture of the wall of your home where you may want to display your portraits.
Fine Art Prints start at $495 for an 11x14. Our wall art options from our modern line start around $695, and our museum classic line, which is hand-painted by an artisan, starts at $995. We even have painterly portraits available if you are looking to take your art to the next level, these start at $5500.
Each image you purchase comes with a digital file for sharing on social media and making small duplicate copies up to 8x10.
Candlelighters Mission
Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance – founded by families of children with cancer FOR families of children with cancer; to be a light in the darkness.
We are there each and every day providing emotional, educational, and practical support to families of children with cancer.
Candlelighters is an amazing charity that supports families that are impacted by childhood cancer. They currently are on a big mission to raise money to help families pay the enormous parking bill that they rack up during their visits to hospitals and doctors. In 2019 they served over 4,000 families, provided 9,000 parking validations, adopted 1,828 family members, and hosted 190 family members at Camp CLIFF.
