PANDA | 2 YEAR OLD ROUGH COLLIE | HOUSTON, TX
Panda is a male Tri Head Cryptic Merle Rough Collie. He lives in Houston, TX.
Panda is an incredibly unique dog with a charming personality. One of the most distinctive traits about Panda is how he always seems to be happy, with his tail wagging and a smile on his face. His friendly demeanor and affectionate nature make him a joy to be around, and he quickly wins over the hearts of everyone he meets. In addition to his cheerful disposition, Panda’s coat is truly one-of-a-kind. With its striking tri-head cryptic merle pattern, he stands out from the pack and always turns heads wherever he goes. His coat is soft and silky to the touch, and he loves nothing more than getting a good brushing from his human friends.
Cheryl and Panda’s story is a heartwarming one that began when Cheryl met Panda at a rescue center. At the time, Panda had only been owned for five months and was still a young pup. When he was dropped off at the center, Cheryl knew she had to help him. She spoke with Panda’s previous owner and explained that she wanted to foster him with the hope of adopting him before the breeder could take him back. It was a match made in heaven, and Cheryl quickly fell in love with Panda’s adorable personality and unique Tri head cryptic merle coat. Now, Panda has found his forever home with Cheryl and is living his best life as a beloved member of the family.
One of Panda’s most amusing quirks is his love for barking at squirrels and birds. Whenever he sees a squirrel scampering up a tree or a bird flying overhead, he can’t resist letting out a few excited barks. His excitement is contagious, and his humans can’t help but laugh at his antics. Even though his barking can sometimes be a bit excessive, it’s hard not to admire his enthusiasm for the world around him.
Cheryl has many fond memories with Panda, but one that stands out is during his first agility trial. As Panda ran the course, he was so excited that when the light went off, he continued on and finished it! Cheryl was amazed by Panda’s enthusiasm and determination, and she couldn’t help but feel proud of him. The two of them shared a special moment as they celebrated Panda’s achievement together. It was a reminder of how far Panda had come since they first met at the rescue center, and how much joy he had brought into her life. To this day, Cheryl still looks back on that moment with a smile and cherishes the memory of Panda’s excitement and boundless energy.
