NOSTÁLGICO HDF | 14 YEAR – OLD PRE ANDALUSIAN STALLION | MAGNOLIA, TX

Nostálgico HDF, also known as Handsome, is a striking 14-year-old PRE Andalusian Stallion with a beautiful chestnut coat, a star on his forehead, and a long mane and tail. Handsome was bred at Hans Grimson High Definition Farm. Standing at 15.2 hands, Handsome trains at Blue Magnolia Farms with his rider, Lea Bodie, under the guidance of their trainer, Jessica Daniel.

Handsome is a very social stallion, known for his friendly whinnies and his ability to perform tricks. He enjoys coconut water, adding a unique touch to his already charming personality. Lea and Handsome have a special bond, and this is evident in their interactions both in and out of the arena.

Lea and Handsome first met in September 2023 when they found him through an ad. Lea fondly recalls their first meeting, saying, “The first time we met him, I walked him down the road, and it was really magical.” Since then, their connection has only grown stronger.

One of Lea’s favorite memories with Handsome is from a cross-country course they visited. She recalls, “One time I went to a cross-country course, and we galloped and went over a log jump. He jumped so high; it was awesome!” This experience was particularly memorable for Lea’s daughter, Olivia Bodie, who cherishes the thrilling jump.

Handsome and Lea are currently competing together in the IALHA nationals, showcasing their skills and the bond they share. The pair continues to achieve great things together, driven by their mutual passion for the sport.

Lea has always loved horses and dreamt of jumping from a young age. She started riding when she was 8 or 9 years old and got her first horse when she was 10. This lifelong passion for horses is evident in her dedication to Handsome and their training.

With a bright future ahead, Lea and Handsome are an inspiring team, embodying the spirit of dedication and love for the equestrian sport. Their journey together is a testament to the magical connection between horse and rider.
