Natalee Newton Haggan | MTM Farm | Faces of Pin Oak

The perfect story of a women who fought for her dream amidst trials and circumstance. Natalie has dedicated her life to our equine besties. From a young age Natalee has worked hard to follow her dream or even better word for it, her calling, Promising her parents she would stick with lessons in order to show responsible for horse ownership one day. Natalie, like many of us, would stay after lessons to help out with other horsey chores around the barn.

As Natalee grew up she had the unique opportunity to convince the head trainer of Medieval Times of all that she could do for them. You see, at the time they only really had male riders, however Natalee made an impression and she was in! While there she acquired significant knowledge in the foundations of dressage which in turn benefited her overall horsemanship. After 3 years, she missed the thrill that is jumping and starting working other peoples horses at MTM farms. Here she stayed and became not only barn manager but also a trainer.

Another beautiful thing to note is the inspiration she is. In 2017 Natalee suffered a severe injury when a board fell on her head which put her in critical condition. In a world where there is so much to overcome, those that go through similar circumstances can be encouraged by Natalee’s relentless pursuit to heal. Now a face of Pin Oak, which previously she only dreamed of ever showing in, Natalee is a symbol of hope to riders everywhere with big dreams amidst adversity.

With humility she states that she would not be who or where she is today if it wasn’t for her core group of mentors and friends over at MTM including Mike McCormick and Tracy Fenney.

Here we have Natalee with Fuller who is an imported Hanoverian Gelding. She says “Fuller jumps in an unorthodox style, but he has the heart of a winner. He always gives 110% in and out of the show ring, and always steps up when he is challenged. He is also the first to greet me when I walk in the barn with a loud neigh ‘hello.’”

A huge thank you to Fab Finds by Sarah, Luxe EQ & the Saddle Shoppe for providing Natalee’s looks for her Faces of Pin Oak Portraits.
