Meet Nacho, a sweet chihuahua mix, he is owned and loved by Michael of Tokaruk Show Stables. They live in Germantown, TN with his sister, Alice. Nacho really should be known as Nacho the ferocious, he might be tiny but he has plenty of personality. The entire time we were taking his portraits Nacho was convinced that he was going to eat me, isn’t it funny how the tiniest dogs always have the biggest personalities? When you scroll to the bottom of the blog you will get to see his ferocious face, because I couldn’t resist sharing it in the blog!
Nacho is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle and will build his own pillow forts until he’s good and comfy. Michael’s favorite memory of Nacho is the dog races at a horse show in Santa Fe. Nacho wasn’t the fastest, but he had the most fun! He was very sick in the vet hospital earlier that year, and when Michael would go visit he would tell him about the dog races. He made an amazing recovery and ran 3 months later, and it was a really special day!
Did you know that Chihuahuas are fiercely loyal? They would much rather be with you all day than alone. Hence why you may see them in purses and bags – they would rather be there with their person than home by themselves.
