Moves Like Jagger “Jagger” | Memorial Park Hunters | Patty Roberts

Moves Like Jagger, “Jagger”, is a 10-year-old Welsh Cob gelding Chestnut. He has three stockings, one white sock, his mane and tail have a lighter shade of blonde throughout, and he has a black spot on his rear end. Jagger is owned and ridden by Elle Wuertz who trains with Patty Roberts out of Memorial Part Hunters in Houston, TX.

Elle shares her favorite memory with Jagger was at Pin Oak this year, 2022. There was a popsicle stand the last Saturday of the show. The pair walked up each getting popsicles. She reminisced on how much fun it was getting to see him eat his first little popsicle and love it so much! After that Elle snacked on Lays potato chips and Jagger thought, “well since we had popsicles together we get chips together too, right?” and stole her chips!

The pair met at their barn, Memorial Park Hunters in Houston, TX. The little girl that leased him wasn’t there so Elle rode him and immediately fell in love with him. After that, she tried him out for a month taking him to WEF…it wasn’t long until the pair formed a connection like none other and Elle wasn’t giving him up!

Jagger has the most playful, happy-go-lucky pony personality! He loves making people laugh and even likes wearing Elle’s hat. Jagger’s treat of choice is definitely Popsicles and Lays Potato Chips!

For Elle, riding and the love of horses is a family affair. She first got her start riding from her family and then started out on her adventure to a horse camp where she was able to ride many horses and learn many different types of skills and abilities.
