Maxumus is an amazing 11-year-old Rheinlander Gelding who lives at Diamond B Ranch in Alvin, TX. Maxumus has quickly become a favorite among all who know him. With his beautiful bay coloring and friendly disposition, it’s no wonder that he has captured the hearts of so many people.
One of Maxumus’s favorite things in the world is bananas. Taylor, his owner, knows that if he wants to put a smile on his face, all he has to do is give him a banana or two. And who can blame him? Bananas are a delicious treat that almost everyone enjoys!
Maxumus’s story is an interesting one. He was actually found by his current owners when they went to Ocala for a four-day trip. As soon as they saw him, they knew that he was something special. And when Taylor got on him, she had a different feeling than she had ever experienced on any other horse. It was as if they were meant to be together.
Taylor has had Maxumus for four months now, and she has already made so many memories with him. One of her favorite memories is the day that she decided that Maxumus was going to be her horse forever. It was a decision that she made with her heart, and she knew that she would never regret it.
Maxumus is not just a horse. He’s a member of the family. He brings joy, love, and companionship to all who know him. And for those lucky enough to call him their own, he is a constant reminder of the beauty and wonder of the animal kingdom.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. During the 2023 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Karinda photographed around 150 Horses and Dogs and was able to donate just under $15,000 to Candlelighter’s Houston.
