Meet Jackie and her horses Zev & Maury, Both of her horses were imported from Germany. They now live in Napa, California. I have to say, that Jackie is my HERO. Seriously. As we were wrapping up her session she through the idea out of hopping on Zev bareback, and oh my goodness they didn’t disappoint! Jackie took off in the arena bareback and cantered around the ring, like she does it on the daily. I have to say, that portraits of her on Zev in the arena may be my favorite portraits from the entire day.
Zev great love is food and is a giant puppy dog. They won the regional adult amateur championships at Second Level they year before I photographed them. Rosenstolz, Maury, is Jackies other horse, is an 8 year old Hanoverian.
