Madaket | Tally Ho Farm The Woodlands, TX Horse Portraits

Meet Madaket, a 10-year-old Warmblood out of Laconda by Lacarno 62. Madaket is owned and ridden by Kylie, who also owns Aspen Shadow. The pair trains with Kim Cox at Tally Ho Farm in Conroe, TX.

Madaket is a beautiful bay with a small white star on her forehead and a diagonal pair of socks on her front left and back right legs.

Kylie shares one of her all-time favorite memories is “having an insanely fast jump-off in the 1.20m Gulfport classic, and taking two strides out in the last line to take the win! This was my favorite memory because before Madaket I had never done jumpers before, and I was insanely proud that our hard work finally paid off!

Did you know that most horses love Banana’s and they are a great source of vitamins for them? You can also freeze them to change things up for them!

Kylie shares that she loves how after giving Madaket she likes to smile, and sometimes she’ll hold her leg up like a flamingo when she’s impatient. One of Kylie’s favorite qualities about Madaket though is her outstanding work ethic – she’s game for everything.

Kylie found Madaket at a horse show and has owned her for a little over a year now. The first time she met her Kylie fell in love with her speediness. It was most definitely love at first sight!

Madaket loves beer bread!

The pair have had many accomplishments together including, several Low Juniors and High Children’s Class wins, placing 9th at their first 1.25m Classic, as well as having a clean sweep in the Low Juniors division at Gulfport week 2!
