GIZMO | 3 YEAR-OLD AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD | COVINGTON, LA
Gizmo is a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd with a unique black tri-color coat. She is a friendly and energetic pup who absolutely loves going to work every day! As soon as she arrives, she brightens up the atmosphere with her cheerful demeanor and wagging tail.
Gizmo takes her job very seriously, which is to keep the crew in line and make everyone else laugh. Her playful nature and contagious enthusiasm have earned her the title of office entertainer, and everyone loves having her around.
Stephanie, Gizmo’s owner, had always planned on getting a furry companion, but COVID-19 had different plans. With the lockdowns in place, she decided to move up her timeline and started searching for a dog earlier than planned. After a bit of research, she found Gizmo’s breeder in Dallas, TX, and decided to meet her in person to pick up her new pup. From the moment she laid eyes on Gizmo, Stephanie was smitten. Gizmo was a nonstop ball of energy, bouncing off the furniture like a pinball machine. Stephanie knew then and there that she had found her perfect match. Inspired by Gizmo’s lively personality, Stephanie chose to register her under the name “Frequent Flier’s Nonstop.”
Gizmo is a pup who loves food, and it’s safe to say that her favorite treat is “anything!” Gizmo’s appetite knows no bounds, and she is always up for trying new things. Whether it’s a crunchy biscuit or a savory piece of jerky, Gizmo will devour it within seconds.
Stephanie is a lifelong lover of dogs, and she has had Australian Shepherds for most of her life. Growing up, she was always surrounded by four-legged friends and developed a deep love and appreciation for these furry companions.
Stephanie has many fond memories with her beloved dog, Gizmo, but her favorite has to be when they went to the horse show together. Gizmo loves going to work, especially at the jumper ring, where she can hear the rails and watch the action.
During the show, Gizmo would jump up to look for the rails and bark at the jump crew if they didn’t move fast enough for her liking. Her enthusiasm and energy were infectious, and Stephanie couldn’t help but smile at her furry companion’s antics.
Although Gizmo isn’t a fan of rainy weather, she still managed to find joy in the situation by playing in the run-off water. Stephanie remembers how much fun they had together, laughing and playing in the rain with Gizmo. For Stephanie, it was a perfect day with her furry best friend and a cherished memory she will always treasure.
