I first met Jen a few years ago when I was in Kentucky. She started following me when I was in Kentucky for my 365 Days of Horses project, and when I came back for a trip the following year she reached out so that we could meet up while I was in town, and in 2020 when I visited Kentucky on my first ever road trip across the US I knew we had to make portraits happen with her horse. I may have to over share on this blog, because I am obsessed with Jenn’s portraits. They are absolute perfection from her luxurious curls and flawless makeup down to her navy sparkly dress. We wrapped up Jenn’s portrait session with Black Background Portraits. Jenn ended up with a series of three of her favorite Black Background Portraits for her home, which she proudly displays behind her desk. She has the best background when she is on Zoom calls. Jenn is also a virtual assistant for photographers and runs an amazing company known as Success Beyond the Lens.
