Blond, James Blond, is a Gelding. He lives at home in Magnolia, TX, with his owner and rider Ginger.
Having to retire a beloved horse due to any reason is never easy and for Ginger, this was no different when she had to unexpectedly retire her beloved Caboose. Fortunately, shortly after is when Blond came along and blessed Ginger with such happiness. We all know that previous horses will never be replaced in our lives or our hearts, but little did Ginger know, she was making way for the most talented, fun-loving, perfect horse she never knew she needed. Ginger and James Blond have one purpose in life: to have fun together! They love trail rides, leisurely riding, and practicing their flatwork.
“When I was a very little child, perhaps 5 or 6, I would watch The Roy Rogers Show on the television. I fell in love with Trigger, his Palomino. Later came another television show, Mr. Ed, and another Palomino that captured my heart. It has taken me 60 years but my dream of owning a Palomino came true in January or 2020 when my daughter, Tara-Leigh, and her trainer, Will Roberts at Pine Hollow Farm found Blond, James Blond and thought he would be a good match for me. They were wrong, he’s not a good match, he is a perfect match! He is a solid fellow, with a generous heart and a quick mind. He is bold and brave and he loves to go on long trail rides. He’s the kind of horse that little girls dream of and the kind of horse that this old lady cherishes as a dream come true. He makes me get out of bed each morning with a smile on my face and joy in my heart because I get to spend time with him. Whether I’m riding or grooming he makes me glad to get up and get going. He’s the perfect partner in every sense of the word.”
