In Loving Memory of Sully, owned by Rylee.
Prospering Top This, Sully, is a 12-year-old Welsh Cross Gelding who was loved by Rylee. I can honestly say that although this sweet boy didn’t get to spend too much time here on earth, he truly had the best life a pony could have imagined with Rylee, and Rylee was lucky enough to have him as her once in a lifetime horse. The pair truly started at the bottom and worked their way to the top all thanks to Rylee’s dedication.
Sully came to Rylee with only 30 rides on him. Rylee had to work with him from the ground up and put in so much hard work. Her favorite memory was when she was able to sit on him for the first time, it was so apparent at the session how much trust Sully really had in Rylee.
Sully was so incredibly outgoing and personable. He always needs to be with everyone and is impressively inquisitive. One of Rylee’s favorite things about Sully was how he tried his hardest to please her. The pair even won Grand Champion at their very first show.
When Rylee found out Prospering Farm was selling some of their ponies, she and trainer Sayer Townsend, went up to see them. Rylee picked Sully out of a bunch of about 20 horses due to his extremely friendly personality and on top of that he looked like a good mover.
