Handwritten N Code | 13 YEAR OLD APPALOOSA | RICHMOND, TX

Codie, Handwritten N Code, is an Appaloosa Gelding. His sire is All Hands on Zip. He was bred in College Station, TX. Codie lives and trains with Brooke Brown at Regal Sport Horses in Richmond, TX.

Codie is a one-of-a-kind horse with some truly special traits that set him apart from the rest of the horses at the barn. As a Red Road Appaloosa with two back socks and a blaze, he’s a stunning sight to behold. But there’s much more to Codie than just his good looks!

First and foremost, Codie is a horse who knows the importance of a good nap. Every day, like clockwork, he takes some time out of his busy schedule to catch some zzz’s. It’s almost like napping is his job! But even though he loves his rest, Codie is always up for making new friends. He’s the friendliest horse at the barn, and he’s always happy to meet new people and horses.

Of course, like any horse, Codie likes to have some fun in the pasture. Sometimes he plays a little rough and ends up throwing yet another shoe. But even when he’s being a little mischievous, Codie is still a lovable horse with a heart of gold.

One of the things that makes Codie truly special is how much he loves attention. He’s always up for a kiss or a treat, and he’ll do just about anything to get some extra love from his human friends. And when he hears his name called, Codie always looks up, eager to see who’s calling for him. It’s no wonder that his human friends love him so much!

Jamey’s story of how she found Codie is a heartwarming one. When she first got back into riding as an adult, Codie was one of the lesson horses that she frequently rode. From the very beginning, Jamey felt a special connection to Codie, and as time passed, their relationship grew stronger. So when Brooke, Codie’s previous owner, made the difficult decision to put him up for sale, Jamey knew she couldn’t let the opportunity pass her by. With a deep love and admiration for this amazing animal, Jamey took the leap and became Codie’s proud owner. The bond between them only grew stronger from there, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

Codie is a horse who knows what he likes, and when it comes to treats, he’s a simple guy with simple tastes. He loves nothing more than a good kiss or a tasty treat, but don’t be fooled by his love of the finer things in life. Codie is not one for fancy treats from high-end stores. No, his favorite treats can only come from one place: the feed store.

Codie is a true connoisseur of horse treats, and he knows exactly what he likes. Those basic, no-frills nuggets from the feed store are his absolute favorite, and he’ll turn up his nose at any fancy gourmet treats that might come his way. For Codie, it’s all about the simple pleasures in life, and those humble nuggets are the key to his heart.

Jamey’s story of how she got into riding horses is a classic one. From a young age, she showed a natural inclination towards horses, rocking her rocking horse so hard that her dad was worried she’d break it! So he did the only logical thing and put her on a real horse instead. She started out with western riding, but eventually found her true love in English riding, particularly in the Hunter Jumper discipline.

Despite her love for riding, life got in the way, and Jamey took a long break from the sport. But when her daughter started riding with Brooke Brown, Jamey found herself drawn back into the world of horses once again. With encouragement from her family, she decided to take up riding again, and it was like she’d never left. It’s clear that horses have always been a part of Jamey’s life, and it’s wonderful to see her back in the saddle once again.
