GEORGIA O’KEEFE | 6 YEAR OLD AMERICAN PAINT HORSE | HARWICH, MA

Miss G, Georgia O’Keefe, is an American Paint Horse Mare. Her sire is Invite The Artist APHA Stallion. She is trained at the Just Imagine Farm in Harwich, MA.

Miss G is a stunning tri-color paint horse with unique markings that catch the eye of anyone who sees her. She’s a true queen and loves being the center of attention wherever she goes. With her regal posture and confident demeanor, Miss G exudes a sense of pride and elegance that sets her apart from other horses. Her playful and friendly nature makes her a joy to be around, and she loves nothing more than being showered with attention and affection from her human companions. Whether she’s trotting around the pasture or showing off her skills in the arena, Miss G always commands attention and leaves a lasting impression on all who meet her.

Richard and Chad, Miss G’s owners, found this beloved horse at an APHA breeder in Florida. As soon as they laid eyes on her, they knew she was the one. Her stunning tri-color paint markings caught their attention, and they were immediately drawn to her confident and regal posture. They could see that Miss G had a special spark and energy that set her apart from the other horses at the breeder.

Miss G has a sweet tooth for one particular treat- carrots! These delicious and crunchy snacks are her absolute favorite, and she can never resist them. Whenever her owners, Richard and Chad, bring out a bag of fresh carrots, Miss G’s ears perk up, and she can’t help but let out a little whinny of excitement.

This queen Miss G has had an outstanding year in 2023 so far, and her accomplishments are nothing short of impressive. She has been crowned the Grand Overall Circuit Champion in the 0.65 Jumpers category at the prestigious HITS OCALA competition, a remarkable achievement that showcases her incredible skill and talent. Miss G has been trained and ridden to perfection by her owners, Richard and Chad, who have helped her develop into a champion jumper. Her precise movements and exceptional athleticism have earned her the respect and admiration of riders and trainers alike. With this latest triumph, Miss G has cemented her place as one of the top horses in the sport. Richard and Chad couldn’t be prouder of her achievements.

Richard’s love for horses started at a young age when he first started riding. As a kid, he was captivated by the beauty and grace of these magnificent animals and knew he wanted to spend his life around them. Over the years, Richard honed his riding skills and developed a deep understanding of the bond between horse and rider. Today, he finds solace in watching his horses at the farm, peacefully grazing on hay and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. For Richard, there’s nothing quite like the peacefulness of spending time with horses and being able to connect with them on a deeper level.

Richard and Chad have many cherished memories with Miss G, but one that stands out above the rest is the day she surprised them with her incredible jumping ability. Miss G was originally purchased to be a trail horse, but one day while playing around on her bareback, Richard decided to trot her up to a small 2 Foot vertical. To his amazement, Miss G snapped her knees to her chin with grace and ease, revealing her true potential as a show hunter. From that day on, Richard and Chad knew that Miss G was destined for greatness and dedicated themselves to training her to become the champion jumper she is today. This memory remains a special one for Richard and Chad, as it was the moment that sparked Miss G’s transformation from trail horse to show jumping superstar.
