FRESHLY DIPPED | 14-YEAR-OLD AMERICAN SADDLEBRED GELDING | PARKER, TEXAS
Freshly Dipped, Reggie, is a stunning chestnut horse with a distinctive blaze and four white stockings, which makes him a true head-turner in any show ring. Reggie resides at Mill-Again Stables under the expert guidance of Ashley Walker. Ashley’s dedication to horsemanship and training has been instrumental in Reggie’s success along with his owner Hillary.

One of Hillary’s cherished memories with Reggie is from their winter TASHA horse show in College Station last December. “It was my first victory pass with him, and Reggie decided to add his own flair by doing his signature ‘Reggie Stop’ during the lap of honor. The photographer captured the moment perfectly, showcasing Reggie’s playful personality and our partnership. It’s a picture that never fails to bring a smile to my face and captures the essence of our journey together” shares Hillary.
Hillary first noticed Reggie during Melanie Bennett’s show last season and instantly fell in love with his presence and performance. Hillary was fortunate enough to bring him into her life last June, and since then, he has become an integral part of thier equestrian adventures.
Reggie is 14 years old, though he still carries himself with the energy and spirit of a much younger horse. He is an American Saddlebred, known for their elegance and versatility. Reggie was bred by Silver Brook Stables, sired by (SA) Dorian Warrior Song and out of Sterling Colors, which reflects his impressive lineage and heritage in the show ring.
Reggie’s nickname “Redneck Reggie” speaks to his quirky and fun-loving nature. He keeps me on my toes with his playful antics, yet he is incredibly focused and determined in the show ring, always giving his best effort.Reggie has a sweet tooth for peppermints, which adds to his charm as a horse with a taste for the finer things in life!
Among his many accolades, Reggie proudly boasts the title of 2013 3-Year-Old 5-Gaited S/G World’s Champion, a testament to his talent and training.
Hillary’s journey with horses began in 1998 at Mill-Again Stables under the mentorship of Candee Carlson. “Starting as an academy kid, I developed a deep passion for riding and showing horses, eventually leading me to become a dedicated owner and breeder. The joy of forming a partnership with a horse like Reggie and experiencing the thrill of competition is what fuels my love for equestrian sports” Hillary explains.
Hillary states that “owning Reggie has been a fulfilling adventure filled with unforgettable moments both in and out of the show ring. He’s not just a horse; he’s a friend and a teammate, making every ride a cherished memory. As we continue our journey together, I look forward to creating more stories with Reggie that capture the true essence of our bond.”
