Emmett is a 9-year-old Shepherd/Hound mix owned by Karissa and the pair lives in Missouri.
Emmett found his way to Karissa through a friend. She was on her way to Karissa and driving through Tennessee so they could head to a horse show. When she stopped for gas Emmett came up to her car to look for food so she brought him with her. However, shortly after her friend got to Karissa’s house they had to head out to show so Emmett was left with Karissa’s husband. By the time they arrived at the show, her husband sent her pictures of Emmett getting a bath, teaching him to sit for treats, and snuggling on the couch. He’s been a member of the family ever since.
Where Emmett’s sister, Bella, loves to go on adventures Emmett is the “Sleepy” one of the two. He would much rather nap all day and sleep all night than head out for a 5k. However, one of Karissa’s favorite things about him is his occasional zoomies. He gets so excited and runs around with his tail wagging in circles the whole time.
Karissa has loved the dogs her entire life and their unending faithfulness and unshakeable love.
