Elegante, “Presley”, is a 9-year-old Oldenburg daughter to Popeye K and Algeria L.S. Presley was bred by Judy D’Arta in California. This sweet Mare is Bay with three white socks and a white blaze along her face. Presley is ridden and owned by Caira Adams who trains with Kelsey Marcus out of Cedar Haven Stables in Cedar Hill, TX.
Caira’s favorite memory with Presley was her first time in the jumpers with her! “As soon as the buzzer for the jump-off rang Presley was jumping her socks off! We won the class by less than a second and it was the best feeling you could ever imagine.” When Caira first purchased Presley she was extremely green. “Her coming to me as a green horse has been incredibly special because we were able to grow and learn together.” shares Caira.
Presley was found on an auction website, the Adams Family placed a bid on her and won! She was soon trailered to Caira’s barn where she surprised her a day early upon arrival.
Presley has a very unique personality! She will eat anything as well as jump anything you point her towards. One of the cutest unique traits about Presley is every time you give her a treat she gives you a big smile! She also loves to jump the smallest jumps as if they are super high!
Presley’s favorite treats are peppermints! But she also loves sour patch kids, blue Gatorade, apple fritters, and popsicles!
Caira started riding horses through a coupon her mom found online. After one lesson, she instantly fell in love and knew this was the sport for her. “My mom likes to joke and say it was the most expensive coupon she has ever purchased!” Caira’s favorite thing about owning horses is the bond you establish with your horse. “There’s something about horses that bring you happiness that’s unexplainable.”
