Corpus Christi Equine Photographer | KittKatt the Quarter Horse
KittKatt is a 13 year old Quarter Horse that lives at Firecreek Stables in Hockley, Texas.
KittKatt loves licking your hands after she gets a treat. She especially loves carrots! She really likes a head massage too. She has a special white spot under her mane that Tiffany and her daughter Ava, KittKatt’s owners, can pick out anywhere. KittKatt is trained by Sally Elliot. Ava & KittKatt are training to run barrels.
Ava says “they’re connected” ever since as she met KittKatt at a camp her trainer was holding. Although KittKatt had a reputation, she kind of choose Ava, and did everything this tiny little girl asked her to do, to her trainers amazement.
I am always in awe of those special horses that are absolute angels when you put young Kiddos on them. Some horses have a special way of knowing when they need to babysit their riders and make sure they are safe. I will never forget a mare that I owned when I was younger that could be absolutely crazy at times, however you could put a young kid on her and she would take the most delicate baby steps and be so great under saddle.
They like to use the word “kismet” to refer to her because she is a super human horse.
Ava is now 10 years old and loves KittKatt. She begged her parents for a year and a half to let her ride and now she’s been riding for two years! She says her horse’s favorite treats are carrots and her favorite memory with KittKatt is the day she became hers!
