Clinton is a 10 year old Holsteiner gelding who is owned by Kelley. He lives at Silver Fox Farms in Wimberly,TX. He was imported from Europe and arrived just before he turned 4 years old. When Kelley first met him, she thought he was magnificent.
Kelley got involved in horses later in life, and when she finally got Clinton she couldn’t believe that he was finally here and that he was all hers. She spends most of her time on the ground spoiling him and cheering him on in the ring when her trainer Colleen and Colleen’s daughter Brooke, show him. Clinton is a very sensitive boy, and everyone says that he is a “Mommas Boy.” He has been doted on since he arrived so that is a fairly accurate term to describe him. Although he is incredibly sweet and loves everyone, he isn’t a fan of ponies. He can be a little quirky and even smacks his lips at times like he is trying to speak.
Kelley shares, “We have had animal communicators visit with him and he seems to be very proud, doesn’t like it when I call him my “baby” boy but made it very clear that I am his person. He’s not for sale no matter what he wins – when his career is finished, he will come home and live with me.”
