A beautiful photograph and history of Savana. A testament and reflection of just how much horse and owner care for, and love, each other. I witnessed Michelle’s love for horses growing up with her. Everything she says about her passion for these animals is true. I remember watching her lead her first horse (there have been several since) down the ramp of the transport van. And she WAS 12 years old! Like Michelle says, “The rest is history.” With the love this horse and owner show each other it makes one wonder, “Who needs people?”ReplyCancel
Great story! I was with Michelle the day she bonded with Savana. Watching Savana carefully approach Michelle and then nuzzled her brought tears to my eyes! Savanna is such a beautiful horse, with such a kind eye, and is so calm…nothing bothers her. Whether Michelle rides her Western or Saddleseat, Savanna just adapts.
