Megan, the proud owner of Bonito, has an extraordinary story of how she stumbled upon this magnificent horse. It was Allison Kroff, their trusted trainer, who discovered Bonito through a video about a year and a half ago. Little did Megan know that this video would change her life forever. The excitement soared when the day finally arrived to meet Bonito in person. It was a dark, starlit night when he stepped off the trailer, marking the beginning of their incredible journey together. The instant connection between Megan and Bonito was undeniable as if their souls recognized each other from the start.
Bonito, the lovable horse with an insatiable appetite, has a favorite treat that never fails to bring a twinkle to his eyes – anything and everything! From crunchy carrots to juicy apples, and even the occasional sugar cube, Bonito simply adores indulging in a wide array of treats. His enthusiasm knows no bounds when it comes to satisfying his taste buds.
Megan’s journey into the world of riding horses began at an incredibly young age, all thanks to her mother’s passion for these majestic creatures. With her mother as a guiding light, Megan was introduced to the enchanting world of horses during her formative years. At just three years old, Megan took her first steps into the saddle and never looked back. Riding quickly became an integral part of her life, shaping her experiences and molding her character. From those early days until now, Megan has dedicated a significant portion of her life to the joy and fulfillment that horseback riding brings. It all started with her mother’s love for horses, creating a bond between Megan and these remarkable animals that would endure for a lifetime.
One of Megan’s most cherished memories is the magical night she first met Bonito. It was a special occasion, filled with anticipation and excitement, as a five-year-old Bonito stepped off the trailer under the veil of darkness. Despite the new surroundings and the late hour, Bonito exuded an air of serenity and contentment that warmed Megan’s heart. Their eyes met, and an instant connection formed as if Bonito had been eagerly awaiting this moment as well. The tranquility and joy radiating from Bonito filled Megan with a sense of awe and gratitude. It was a beautiful encounter that left an indelible mark on their bond, solidifying their partnership and creating a treasured memory that Megan holds close to her heart.
