Betty the Goat is owned by Sharon. Betty is everything you think of when you hear the name Betty and more. Betty was teeny tiny when she first came into Sharon’s life. She has a boyfriend named Carl, and these two together are the cutest.
Have you ever wondered why many people with horses have other barn animals? So many such as goats. Well, goats actually make great companions for horses! Like horses, goats are herd animals, meaning they travel together in packs and don’t like to be alone. This works great for horses who are retired and need a buddy or maybe a horse who just likes having a friend 24/7. Since horses and goats get along well, they can be kept in the same pasture and typically bond very quickly. Generally speaking, female goats are more docile than male goats which makes female goats easier to get along with.
