Otis, ATC’S AJACCIO, is a Hanoverian Gelding. His sire is Asti’s Amsterdam who is by As Di Villagana. His dam is Kerrin who is by Cascavelle. Otis trains and lives at Kroff Stables in Scottsdale, AZ.
Otis is a charming dapple bay horse who possesses some unique and distinctive characteristics that make him stand out from the rest. He has a small star on his forehead that adds to his overall appeal and makes him instantly recognizable. Despite his good looks, Otis is also known for his easy-going and friendly personality, which endears him to everyone he meets.
One of Otis’ favorite pastimes is going on long walks, where he can stretch his legs and take in the sights and sounds of his surroundings. He is an active and curious horse, always eager to explore and discover new things. When he’s not out and about, Otis loves nothing more than grazing on fresh, green grass. He finds the act of grazing to be deeply relaxing and fulfilling, and it always puts him in a good mood.
One thing that Otis simply can’t resist is a delicious and juicy banana. Out of all the treats available, bananas are definitely his absolute favorite, and he gets excited just thinking about them! Whenever Ruby, his owner, brings him a banana, Otis’s eyes light up with joy and anticipation. He eagerly takes the treat in his mouth, savoring the sweet and fruity flavor. The texture of the banana also seems to be particularly pleasing to Otis, as he chews it slowly and contentedly.
Ruby is a horse enthusiast who had been searching for the perfect equine companion for quite some time. After browsing through numerous videos online, she stumbled upon a clip of Otis and was immediately smitten. Something about the horse’s gentle demeanor and handsome looks captured her heart, and she knew she had to have him.
Despite the fact that Otis was located in Europe, Ruby didn’t let that deter her. She arranged to purchase him sight unseen and eagerly awaited his arrival. When Otis finally arrived at her stable, Ruby knew she had made the right choice. He settled in quickly and has been a dream to work with ever since. With his winning personality and stunning good looks, Otis has become a beloved member of Ruby’s equestrian family.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. During the 2023 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Karinda photographed around 150 Horses and Dogs and was able to donate just under $15,000 to Candlelighter’s Houston.
