I am so honored to have been asked to create a one of a kind photo for the Great Southwest Equestrian Center Magazine Cover. So many of you have seen the chosen photo, but not all of you know the other concepts that happened and went on in the process of creating the final photo.
The picture above is the cover feature for the GSWEC 2019 Magazine.
If you know my work, you know that I love to use smoke bombs in pictures, and I knew I had to include smoke bombs into the shoot, although ultimately we went with a more traditional photo for the cover.
Let’s be honest, how cool are these shots?! I think I need to start doing more shoots like this of just horses outdoors. Would you love to have pictures of your horse with some of the ribbons they have won?? (PS. Do you know how hard it is to photograph a ribbon on a horse on a windy day?!)
