Natalya chose a classic twist on an equestrian look for her second look during her senior portrait session with her horse at Twisted Oak Farm outside of San Antonio,TX. I always encourage my clients to choose two completely different looks and to not be afraid to push the envelope and do something a little different. I couldn’t love the coat they chose to go with her equestrian look more, it is truly a timeless look.
Natalya and Antic train with Claudia Conn at her farm Twisted Oak Farm in Bulverde,TX. This pair travels to shows and they complete in Children’s Jumper Classics together.
Natalya shares, “My favorite memory of Antic would have to be the very first time I rode her. I was fourteen and making the transition from hunter to jumper and she was the first jumper I’d ever riden. I was pretty terrified. When I first met her, I remember thinking that she was absolutely gorgeous. Riding her was amazing. She was just exhilarating to ride… until I fell off. I was so embarrassed. Of course she was polite about it, if not a little confused. I got back on and was a bit shaken but somehow she made me feel safe. I knew we had connection. As I left the barn- still pretty embarrassed- I could shake the feeling that I wanted to keep riding her despite our shaky introduction. Somehow I just knew she was for me.”
