Part 5 of the Pin Oak Charity Horse show blog is all about the biggest event of the show. Grand Prix night. This is one of my favorite nights and is such a great night because so many people from the community both horsey and non-horsey show up at Great South West Equestrian Center for one night to watch some of the top competitors in the sport compete for the big prize. Growing up the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Grand Prix night was one of my favorites. My parents would always load up myself and often times some of the other girls from the barn and we would go watch. The silent auction was also one of the hi-lights of the Pink Oak Charity Horse show. I can remember the evening my Mom purchased my horse Lucy in the Silent Auction like it was yesterday, her phone call telling me to come upstairs because she has just bought a horse. The same horse that I still own and ride to this day. Grand Prix night at the show always features a variety of different things from the lead line class, Wells Fargo Stagecoach, bagpipes, and even the Catalina Cowgirls.
There is one thing that is certain about Pin Oak, they know how to host the most amazing events. From the numerous events ringside for exhibitors during the show, to sponsor and member events through the year, I can promise you that any Pin Oak even you attend is sure to be the best of the best.

The Gran Prix!!! It is by far my favorite because it’s my goal to ride in one day!
