Nemo, Odyssey, is a beautiful Italian Warmblood. Nora trains with Amy Beal in Georgia.
Nemo is more than just a show horse—he’s Nora’s best friend. While he takes his job in the ring very seriously, when no one is watching, he turns into the cuddliest companion you could imagine. He knows how to turn on the charm both in and out of the arena.
For years, Nora dreamed of qualifying for the Ariat Medal Finals, and Nemo helped make that dream a reality. In 2023, they competed together and earned scores in the 80s. That same show, they placed 8th overall in the North American Adult Equitation Finals—a moment neither of them will forget.
Nora has been partnered with Nemo for three years now. He was found through Val Renihan, and the connection they’ve built since then is nothing short of incredible.
When it comes to treats, Nemo isn’t picky—he loves everything.
Nora first started riding at age 7 and picked it back up again at 36. For her, horses provide balance in life and keep her grounded. Her bond with Nemo is a testament to that enduring love and passion.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica.
