I wish I had the words to explain how much I have grown to love this family over the years, but I simply can’t explain it. I always say my clients become more like family, and I truly LOVE my clients. If you have crossed paths with this family at a horse show, I am confident that you know exactly what I am talking about. It has been so fun watching Margaret grow up over the last few years and move on up in the horse world, I know she is going to go on to do amazing things.
You might recognize their horse Libby from Pin Oak 2021- her ears are featured on the very first page of our book with the quote, “Be a unicorn in a field of horses.” Libby is exactly what you would expect from a red-headed mare, opinionated, but once she creates that bond there is nothing better. What I didn’t realize about Libby until we did family portraits with her was that she prefers all of Margaret’s attention and anyone that interrupts or gets in the way of that leads to a grumpy mare face. I couldn’t resist sharing quite a few of the bloopers from their portrait session because I think they truly show just what life with a mare is like.
