K, the proud owner of Jo, has a heartwarming story of how she found her beloved horse. Inspired by watching a showcase of Jo’s incredible qualities, K couldn’t help but be drawn to her. The admiration grew over time until, to K’s surprise, a remarkable Christmas gift awaited them. K’s parents fulfilled their deepest wish by presenting Jo as the ultimate present. It was a magical moment that sealed the bond between K and her cherished horse, creating a lifelong friendship filled with love and joy.

Paddy Cakes are her ultimate indulgence and bring immense joy to her every time. These delectable confections, specially made with love and care, are a true delight for Jo. From the moment she catches a whiff of their enticing aroma, her eyes sparkle with anticipation. The soft and moist texture of Paddy Cakes melts in her mouth, leaving a burst of flavors that she adores.
K’s journey into the world of horse riding began at the young age of nine. It all started when her parents decided to take them for a riding lesson, and from that moment, K was captivated. The experience of being atop a magnificent horse ignited a passion within them that would last a lifetime. The feeling of freedom that came with riding and the deep connection forged with the horses were things K cherished. Riding became not just a hobby but a source of empowerment and understanding. K’s love for horses and the incredible experiences that are provided made riding an integral part of her life, filled with joy, adventure, and a sense of gratitude.
K cherishes a remarkable memory of their beloved horse, Jo, which holds a special place in their heart. Among all the cherished memories, one particular moment stands out. It was at the GLEF last summer when K showcased Jo in the NonPro derby. The anticipation and excitement filled the air as they entered the ring, and to their utter joy, Jo delivered a phenomenal performance. K’s smile widened as they received a first-round score of 88, a remarkable achievement that celebrated their incredible partnership. That unforgettable moment epitomized the trust, dedication, and shared love for the sport between K and her beloved Jo.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. During the 2023 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Karinda photographed around 150 Horses and Dogs and was able to donate just under $15,000 to Candlelighter’s Houston.
