OUR PRETTY PENNY | 10 YEAR-OLD SADDLEBRED | MAGNOLIA, TX
Penny, Our Pretty Penny, is a Saddlebred Mare. Penny was bred at Copper Coin Farm. She trains and lives at Lone Star Saddlebreds in Magnolia, TX.
Penny, the brown horse with a striking white blaze on her forehead, possesses a set of endearing and unique characteristics that make her truly one-of-a-kind. Known for her gentle disposition and affectionate nature, Penny is a sweet and cuddly companion. Whenever joy fills her heart, she displays her adorable quirk of letting her bottom lip hang, an endearing gesture that warms the hearts of those around her. Penny finds immense delight in her Lik It toy, a cherished possession that she adores in her cozy stall. With her distinctive features and lovable personality, Penny captures the hearts of all who encounter her.
In the heartwarming story of how Kambryn, Penny’s owner, discovered her, fate intervened during a trip to Kentucky where they were scouting for horses on behalf of other equestrians in their barn. Unbeknownst to them, destiny had something special in store. While initially not intending to purchase a horse themselves, Kambryn and her family were instantly captivated the moment they laid eyes on Penny. There was an undeniable connection, and Penny’s irresistible charm swiftly melted their hearts. In that serendipitous encounter, Kambryn and Penny’s destinies intertwined, setting the stage for a remarkable partnership that would be cherished for years to come.
Penny has a delightful weakness for treats that tickle her taste buds. Among all the delectable options, peppermints hold a special place in Penny’s heart. The refreshing burst of minty sweetness never fails to bring a spark of joy to her day. But that’s not all – Penny’s love for tasty indulgence extends to Lik it molasses-flavored treats as well. The rich, irresistible aroma of molasses combined with the delectable taste make these treats an absolute favorite in her eyes.
Penny has carved a place for herself in the equestrian world based on her achievements. Among her remarkable accomplishments, she proudly boasts the title of Pin Oak Championship Winner. With her grace, skill, and unwavering determination, Penny showcased her extraordinary talent in the competitive world of horse shows, emerging victorious and leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed her exceptional performances.
Kambryn’s love for riding horses blossomed unexpectedly during what they humorously call the “most expensive free lesson ever” at Lonestar Saddlebreds. From the very first moment, she climbed into the saddle, an enchanting connection was forged, forever altering their path. The sheer joy, the thrill of partnership, and the indescribable sense of liberation on horseback ignited an insatiable passion within Kambryn’s heart. What was meant to be a single lesson turned into an enduring infatuation, binding them tightly to the captivating world of equestrianism. In that serendipitous encounter, Kambryn discovered a newfound love that would shape their journey for years to come.
Kambryn cherishes a favorite memory that forever holds a special place in their heart – the moment when Penny, her beloved equine companion, claimed the championship at Pin Oak. Penny’s arrival had marked a significant milestone in their journey together, as she joined their lives without a barn name. Her stunning copper-colored coat inspired them to affectionately name her Penny, a nod to her radiant hue and her birthplace at Copper Coin Farm. As they watched Penny and her exceptional grace shine in the competitive arena, an overwhelming sense of pride and joy enveloped them all. It was a truly beautiful moment, a culmination of their shared dedication, and a testament to the unbreakable bond between Kambryn and her Pretty Penny.
