RIDGEFIELDS HIGH SOCIETY | 11 YEAR OLD SADDLEBRED | MAGNOLIA, TX

Thor, Ridgefields High Society, is a Saddlebred Gelding. He lives and trains at Lone Star Saddlebreds in Magnolia, Texas.

With a big and powerful build, Thor is an impressive sight to behold, but what really catches the eye is the shining white diamond on his nose. It’s a distinctive feature that sets him apart from other horses and adds to his already imposing presence.

Despite his size, Thor has a gentle and affectionate nature that makes him a favorite among those who know him. He loves nothing more than being showered with hugs and big pets, and he’s not shy about asking for them when he wants them. This friendly demeanor makes him a joy to be around and has earned him many fans and admirers over the years.

Emma, Thor’s owner, had only been riding for a short time when she stumbled upon her beloved horse. It was December of 2021 when she first laid eyes on Thor, and she knew right away that he was the one for her. Despite her limited experience, Emma took a chance and decided to bring Thor home with her.

It wasn’t until the following year, at the Pin Oak horse show in Kentucky, that Emma finally got the chance to ride Thor. She had spent the previous year competing in the academy, but now it was time to show off her own horse. It was a nerve-wracking experience, but Emma and Thor rose to the occasion and proved to be a formidable team. From that moment on, Emma knew that she and Thor were destined for great things together.

When it comes to treats, Thor has a clear favorite – he just can’t get enough of apples and carrots! With their sweet, juicy flavor and crunchy texture, these healthy snacks are the perfect way to reward Thor for a job well done, or just to show him some extra love.

Whenever Thor catches a whiff of apples or carrots, he becomes positively giddy with excitement, his ears pricking up and his nose twitching with anticipation. And when he finally gets his hooves on his favorite treats, he savors every last bite, savoring the delicious flavors and textures with obvious pleasure.

For Emma, one particular memory with Thor stands out above all the rest. It was Christmas when she received Thor as a surprise gift, and it’s a moment she’ll never forget. As she opened the gift to find her very own horse, Emma was overcome with emotion – it was the best gift she could have ever hoped for.

In the weeks and months that followed, Emma and Thor formed an unbreakable bond, spending countless hours together and forging a deep and lasting connection. Whether they were out on a ride or simply hanging out in the barn, Emma treasured every moment she got to spend with her beloved horse.

Looking back on that special Christmas morning, Emma knows that receiving Thor was a truly life-changing event. He has brought her so much joy, companionship, and love over the years, and she feels incredibly lucky to have him as a part of her life. It’s a memory that she’ll always cherish and one that will always hold a special place in her heart.
