Meet Gossip Girl, also known as “GG”, who is owned and loved by Mari Reeves. GG lives at Oakwell Farms in San Antonio, TX where the pair trains with Whitney and Frankie Owens. Mari has owned GG since last summer and recently won a Classic at last year’s Pin Oak Charity Horse Show 2022.
Mari has always loved animals, and her grandmother too, which is where she shared her admiration for the beautiful creatures. Her grandmother would take her to their family ranch to see the horses all of the time, and eventually, she decided to try riding. That was about 4 years ago, and she completely fell in love with everything about riding. “My favorite part about owning a horse and being a part of this community is that I bring a little bit of diversity into such an amazing world and was able to have amazing opportunities with amazing horses.”, shares Mari.
