Clintino is owned and adored by Kelly. Clintino is a 10-year-old Holsteiner. This gorgeous grey gelding is incredibly spoiled. Currently, he’s being ridden by friends of his owner, Colleen, and Brooke.
Clintino is such a light grey he almost looks white. He was imported from Europe just before he turned 4. When he arrived at the stables she was blown away that he was finally here and hers! She started riding later in life at the age of 50 and bought him at the age of 51. She doesn’t ride much but she loves to visit and spoil him.
Clintino is very sensitive and everyone tells her that he is a “momma’s boy”. They have all doted on him terribly since he arrived so can’t complain about that. He’s pretty possessive and doesn’t like ponies very much. He can be a little quirky – he smacks his lips like he’s trying to speak. They have had animal communicators visit with him and he seems to be very proud. He doesn’t like it when she calls him her “baby” boy but made it very clear that she is his person. When his career is finished, he will come home and live with her. His win at Pin Oak is the biggest thing he’s won, although he has done well in California, Colorado, and St. Louis. What made the win at Pin Oak special is that she used to show there when she was a little girl about 5 or 6.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. During the 2021 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Karinda photographed around 140 Horses, Dogs, and even Goats, and was able to donate $10,000 to Candlelighter’s Houston. These are the stories of the Horses, Dogs, and Goats that were photographed at the show, these stories complement a photographic book that Karinda is printing and donating to Texas Children’s Hospital featuring Portraits of each and every animal she photographed.
