Rock N Acre, Rocco, is a Quarter Horse X Welsh Gelding Pony. Rocco lives at Twisted Oak Farms in Bulverde, TX, where he and 12-year-old rider, Ryleigh, compete in the hunters with Claudia Conn as their trainer.
Rocco most definitely has a silly side to him but he knows his job and loves jumping fences. He also loves going for little trail rides around the farm with Ryleigh. One of his cutest quirks is that he yawns when he gets excited and he absolutely loves traveling and going to shows.
Ryleigh is so grateful for Rocco. He loves her and keeps her safe, which we all know is so important especially in our beginning years! Everyone that knows Rocco around the barn teases him for thinking he’s a Stallion in a pony body, but he’s very kind.
Ryleigh’s trainer, Claudia, found Rocco. Ryleigh and her mom decided to take a trip to Houston to try him. It was love on the first ride for Ryleigh! Ryleigh has now outgrown Rocco and is leasing a new horse named Leti.

Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. During the 2021 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Karinda photographed around 140 Horses, Dogs, and even Goats, and was able to donate $10,000 to Candlelighter’s Houston. These are the stories of the Horses, Dogs, and Goats that were photographed at the show, these stories complement a photographic book that Karinda is printing and donating to Texas Children’s Hospital featuring Portraits of each and every animal she photographed.
