Meet Lulu, the 10-year-old Longhaired Dachshund. Lulu is owned and loved by her mom, Sally, and dad, Ed. She is most identifiable by her Blonde Longhair and her sister, Bella G who you will meet later in the book, has more of an Oatmeal coloring.
Lulu is a kind and loving dog who absolutely LOVES to wear dresses! When you hold up a dress for her, she jumps right in! She has a unicorn costume at home that she loves wearing around the house for special guests.
Lulu and her sister, Bella G, are both said to be the “sweetest girls ever.” Lulu loves attention and especially loves when children fuss over playing with her. Sally and her husband, Ed, got Lulu when she was just a puppy. Since they have had Lulu since she was a baby they share so many special memories together.
Lulu’s favorite snack is Cheese, although she isn’t picky.
Karinda K. is a Houston, TX based equine photographer that travels around the United States photographing equestrians and their horses. Portraits for Charity was an idea Karinda dreamt up to help give back to families impacted by Childhood Cancer in memory of her husband’s sister Jessica. During the 2021 Pin Oak Charity Horse Show Karinda photographed around 140 Horses, Dogs, and even Goats, and was able to donate $10,000 to Candlelighter’s Houston. These are the stories of the Horses, Dogs, and Goats that were photographed at the show, these stories complement a photographic book that Karinda is printing and donating to Texas Children’s Hospital featuring Portraits of each and every animal she photographed.
